Semiconductor
The semiconductor industry is the aggregate of companies engaged in the design and fabrication of semiconductors and semiconductor devices such as transistors and integrated circuits.
HPT offers a complete range of product related to gas deliveries and gas treatment systems. Applications include gas analyzers and complete analytical systems (CQC) for monitoring impurities in bulk gases, gas detectors for gas cabinets, VMB and tool exhaust, toxic gas abatement systems for etching, ion implant and other processes, FM approved exhaust duct systems and valves as well as gas purifiers.
Industrial gases
Industrial gases producers use advanced technologies to supply gases like oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen. Many of these gases are used in manufacturing, health care, transportation and other essential industries.
HPT covers a variety of application like gas purity analysis in ASU, gas detection for safety applications as well as components to deliver gases around the plants.
Photovoltaic
Photovoltaics (PV) convert solar energy into direct current electricity using semiconducting materials that exhibit the photovoltaic effect. A photovoltaic system employs solar panels composed of a number of solar cells to supply usable solar power. The PV industry uses many processes similar to the semiconductor industry.
HPT can provide gas analyzers and complete analytical systems (CQC) for monitoring impurities in bulk gases , gas detectors for gas cabinets, VMB and tool exhaust, toxic gas abatement systems for fluorinated and other compounds as well as FM approved exhaust duct systems, UHP valves as well as gas purifiers.
Battery Manufacturing
With the increasing demand for electric cars battery manufacturing is becoming an important industry with investments all over the world. Hydrogen fuel cells are among the most promising devices for powering vehicles and are expected to soon become a major technology that will help us reduce greenhouse gas emission. In such device, a current is generated from a redox reaction between hydrogen and oxygen or another oxidizing agent..
HPT covers the analytical needs to measure impurities in fuel cell hydrogen such as moisture and sulfur based compounds by providing a ‘turn key solution according to to ISO 14687-2
Green Hydrogen Industry
Decarbonizing the world using ‘green hydrogen’ is a new trend. Hydrogen is massively produced, now days, with fossils fuels by steam reforming of natural gas and other light hydrocarbons, partial oxidation of heavier hydrocarbons, and coal gasification. This technology in turns provokes emissions that arm our planet. The industry is now pioneering ‘green hydrogen’ produced by the much cleaner electrolysis technology. Here an electric current is used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. As the direct current is passed through the water, oxygen is formed at the positive anode while hydrogen is released at the negative cathode. In conventional electrolysis an additive such as salt is used to increase the conductivity. In PEM (polymer electrolyte membrane) electrolysis, a proton membrane allows particles to pass between anode and cathode, replacing additives in the water and making the process more environmentally friendly. The outcome is hydrogen and oxygen produced using “green” (decarbonised) electricity, and the recovered green hydrogen can be compressed and stored.
HPT can provide the analytical needs to measure the quality of the hydrogen by measuring % and trace O2 and moisture, among other contaminants.
